EVRA Governance DRAFT 20/2/24
The EV Repower Association (EVRA) is a Not For Profit trade body dedicated to supporting standards in the EV conversion industry.
Structure
The EVRA will be run by a committee of senior figures from EV conversion companies in the UK.
Initial committee members are:

We are actively seeking additional committee members to strengthen the governance of the EVRA.
Objectives:
- To represent and promote the EV conversion industry in political discussions such as the Transport Select Committee etc.
- To provide a Code Of Practice that can be recognised as an industry standard by DVLA, DVSA and VOSA as well as vehicle insurers.
- To hold its members to account, offer advice and encourage development in order to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Work with insurance providers to develop industry specific policies and discounted premiums.
The Committee will meet four times a year or otherwise as directed by the Chair. Each meeting will discuss as a minimum:
- Updates to the Code Of Practice
- Updates to the Code Of Conduct
- Member applications
- Complaints against members and remedial actions
- Actions to promote the EVRA standards
- Financial matters
- Review and if needed change EVRA governance
