To achieve and retain membership of the Association any individual or company registering as a member of the Association must agree to the following:
1. To ensure all work is done to the EVRA COP standard.
2. Key personnel must sign up to a relevant CPD scheme to ensure their understanding is current and relevant.
3. Ensure all personnel working on the HV systems are adequately trained and qualified, specifically:
- Performing HV shutdowns and working on non-HV parts of a HV vehicle – Level 2 Award and on the TechSafe register.
- Working on non-live HV parts of a HV vehicle – Level 3 Award and on the TechSafe register.
- Working on live HV systems, such as building battery packs – Level 4 Award and on the TechSafe register.
4. Maintain accurate records of work done.
5. Ensure the vehicle V5 document is accurate and has the fuel type as electric.
6. Must have the correct equipment, maintained in good condition. This must include:
- Cat III 1000V meter.
- Insulation tester to 1000V.
- HV signage and barriers.
7. Must have adequate PPE including:
- Class 0 1000V gloves
- Face shield to BS EN 166 B 9
8. Must use quality components and suppliers.
The Association will periodically visit the Member to check compliance with the above.
